c. 1860, of good quality, in laquered brass with hand -blown glass cups, 12 blade scarificator, unusually with a set of spare blades, two valved cups of different sizes (one a replacement but of the period), suction pump and hose, in vellum-lined fitted case, paper covered in imitation of sharkskin with brass fittings. Case measures 18.5cm across.
