A Thornton Pickard Overseas Tropical ‘Royal Ruby Reflex’ Unrecorded Model
1908, English, with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f/4.5 21cm lens, serial no. 467604, body, VG, shutter working, speeds untested, lens, VG, Whitehead & Giles shutter protected by patents 28174.06 & 15548.08, seasoned teak body with brass bindings and fittings, tan leather bellows with tan leather reflex hood, tan leather hood to focusing screen on rotating portrait/landscape back; This model is not in any Thornton Pickard catalogue, it seems to be a cross between the Royal Ruby hand and stand camera and a Duplex Ruby Reflex camera.
