A Leica IIIg 'British Military' Rangefinder Camera
1957, chrome, serial no. 877432, with Leitz Elmar f/3.5 50mm lens, 1955, chrome, serial no. 1296116, body, VG, shutter working, lens, VG, some internal haze; Very rare British Royal Airforce IIIg with marks to the rear of camera '14A/C A332', along with markings to case '14A/CA39' and lens hood 'CA', camera and lens hood accompanied with a board arrow. On the distance scale, 5ft, 10ft and 25ft have been coloured red, along with f/5.6 on the aperture scale. Normally IIIf examples are found with such engravings. However, this is the first time a IIIg has been discovered.
