a cached surgical saw, American, late 19th century, by Tiemann, in nickel plated steel with carbon steel blade and vulcanite grips, 19.8cm closed; a pair of complex adjustable forceps, in nickel plated steel, unsigned but 'PATD JULY 2 1901' and numbered 38; suture needle forceps by Down Bros, in polished carbon steel with ebony handles, an aneurism needle, carbon steel and ebony, unsigned; an ebony cased sharp steel director, unsigned; a brass bodied sprung snare with four steel jaws, French, by Lesoeur, 25cm (6)
