Theory and Practice of The Photographic Art by W.Sparling, published by Houlston and Stoneman, 1856. The title page states,"assistant to Mr. Fenton". Fenton photographed a Marcus Sparling on his photographic van in 1855 at Crimea. Size 5 x 8inch, brown cloth cover imprinted "Orr's Circle of the Sciences Photography 2s".
Condition: Spine broken and cloth cover stained. Pages are clean and legible.
