English, c.1790, unsigned, the microscope on a folding tripod foot with single sided mirror mounted on rotating compas joint, with single column supporting stage with mount for Bonnani-type stage and stage forceps, small bar limb to top of column compound body tube mounted in brass colar for push/pull focus, with 4 simple objective lenses, all mounted in a mahogany tray, with an unusual mahogany mount to incline the microscope, with a set of later microscope slides in a case (2)
