European, 19th Century, glazed earthenware, in typical bowl form (three circular/five oval) with semi-circular cut out at rim; six with underglaze polychrome foliage/floral decoration; one with underglaze blue foliage, floral and stylised decoration; and one, possibly from Bern, underglaze blue and brown decoration and inscribed Johannes Uberkart 1806 on the basin – largest, 34.8cm. (width), smallest, 24cm. (width)

Note: Previously bought at Sotheby’s 4th September 1996 (Lot 1307) and at Sotheby 11th June 1985 (Lot 176).
