(length); the second, a George III silver lancet case, maker’s mark rubbed, London, 1797, engraved with initials in ribbon-tied shield, with two tortoiseshell lancets stamped LAUNDY – 7.7cm. (length)

Note: The second previously bought from Sotheby’s 26th July, 1989 (1192).
