German, c.1910, with original instructions marked 'EP' for Ernst Plank, Nurmberg, constructed of nickel plated steel, with internal clockwork mechanism which drives a shutter and rotated a celluloid disk of images, this though the viewing lens at the front shows a simple animation, from the instructions ' The toy-pocket-cinetograph shows the surprising and charming scenes as we are accustomed to the cinematographic performances. A slight pressure on the arrest button - the clockwork begins and all is animated', with original instructions, box and 2 disks of images, diameter 8cm.
