French, the reciever marked on the printed dial 'BREGUET' numbered 6039 and stamped to the front 'PO 12', presumably for Post Office, constructed of French polished mahogany with circular glazed window, lift off top reveals the inner electro-mechanical & clockwork workings, the transmitter engraved 'BREGUETT No.45785' with heavy brass dial engraved with numerals and letters (missing J) and turned wooden operating handle, on a French polished base raised on bun feet.
